Which Kind of Blog Content Do You Want to See?
After blogging almost daily for 16 years, I’ve never conducted a formal poll of my readers to determine what type of blog content they want to see, so today I’ll conduct one. The goal is to better tailor what I write to what the 30,000 people who have subscribed to this blog want to read. Let’s dig in.
I usually wake up around 5 am and get started on a blog or finish one I began the day before. However, after more than 3,000 posts, sometimes it’s not easy to decide what to write about. Oftentimes it’s something I want to review myself like new research or something crazy or interesting that I’ve seen the day before. It’s also often something that as my mother used to say, “gets my goat up”.
After reviewing the blog topics, here are the general categories that cover most of what I write here on the Regenexx blog:
Regen Med Research
These are new studies on stem cells, PRP, and other things in the regenerative medicine universe.
New medical research papers on problems with knees, hips, shoulders, spines, etc…
This takes specific orthopedic topics like hip labral tears, impingement, nerve pain, CCI, or other specific injuries or musculoskeletal problems and explains these complex topics in easy-to-understand terms.
Regen Med Exposes
These posts are hard-hitting reporting about the latest craziness in the stem cell wild west that often negatively impacts patients.
Explaining the science behind COVID from a scientific perspective you usually don’t see in the media.
Ask Dr. C
I take patient questions and try to answer in a longer format than I can accomplish in the comments.
Diving into the latest science behind common nutritional supplements.
Regen Med Explainers
Taking complex science controversies or issues in regenerive medicine and trying to explain them in simple terms.
Reviewing specific patient cases where Regenexx has helped changed lives or when the procedure didn’t work and why.
These are specific topic categories not listed here that you can leave in the comments on this post.
