Dr. Mairin Jerome is a board-certified physiatrist with fellowship training in interventional orthopedics and regenerative medicine. Originally from New York City, she obtained her undergraduate degree in visual arts from Brown University and her medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. She completed her residency in physical medicine & rehabilitation (PM&R) at Emory University, where she served as chief resident, and fellowship in interventional orthopedics and regenerative medicine at the Centeno-Schultz Clinic. Dr. Jerome specializes in image-guided, minimally invasive procedures using orthobiologics for painful conditions of the musculoskeletal system.

She has been fortunate to work as an attending physician with Dr. Greg Lutz at Regenerative Sports Care in New York City and in Iowa at Regenexx Des Moines. Her clinical interests include biomechanical rehabilitation in the context of fascia, foot and ankle health, optimizing treatment of the functional spinal unit, intradiscal injections, cervicogenic headache, scoliosis, ACL injuries, and pelvic pain, among others. She is active in research with multiple peer-reviewed publications and has been invited to speak on the topic of regenerative orthopedics at several national conferences, including IOF and TOBI.

Dr. Jerome is thrilled to again call Atlanta home with the opportunity to join her colleague and mentor, Dr. Chris Williams, and the amazing team at IOA.

Her personal interests include art, practicing Ashtanga yoga, and spending as much time as possible outdoors with her mini-schnauzer, Oliver.
