Originally from Jacksonville Florida, Dr. Williams enlisted into the Air Force after high school. After completing four years of service he enrolled in the University of North Florida to complete his Bachelor’s degree with the highest honors of summa cum laude. Before attending medical school, Dr. Williams decided to teach elementary school science to at-risk youth for one year. Following that, he attended medical school and residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Ga. While in residency for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, he was awarded the resident of the year award 3 years in a row and was the Academic Chief Resident his senior year.
Dr. William’s research interests include polypharmacy in the elderly, musculoskeletal ultrasound education, and regenerative medicine for orthopedic conditions.
During his personal time, he enjoys traveling with his family, weight lifting, cooking, and outdoor activities.
