Dr. Evans is board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. He is an Omaha native and a Central High graduate.  After receiving a Bachelor of Arts at Creighton University, he attended medical school at Creighton, graduating with a medical degree in 1982. This was followed by two years of surgical training at Creighton University and then in New York, to complete a residency in Anesthesiology at The State University of New York, at Stony Brook.

Upon returning to Omaha in 1986, Dr. Evans began practice at CHI Bergan Mercy Hospital. During his years there, he served as both Chairman of Anesthesiology and then, Director of Pain Medicine.

Four years ago Dr. Evans moved his practice to Momenta Pain Care, to work with his former colleague, Dr. Peter Piperis, and to allow him to focus on the interventional treatment of spine and musculoskeletal pain.

In addition to his work at Momenta, Dr. Evans serves as the Medical director of The Bergan Mercy Surgery Center.

His past service work includes medical mission trips to both Central America and the Dominican Republic.

Dr. Evans is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the International Spine Intervention Society and the American Academy of Pain.

Dr. Peter Piperis is board certified in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology and has been practicing medicine since 1990. He grew up in California and attended the University of California at Berkeley before receiving his Pharmacy and Medical degrees from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. After completing his anesthesia residency at the University of Washington Affiliated Hospitals in Seattle, he practiced at Jennie Edmundson Memorial Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and CHI Health-Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. With the skills developed in residency, Dr. Peter Piperis established pain medicine clinics at both hospitals before fulfilling his desire to dedicate himself to providing comprehensive pain care for patients. As a result, Piperis Interventional Pain Care, now Momenta Pain Care, was founded in 2006.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Peter Piperis currently serves as Chief of Anesthesia at Advanced Surgery Center in Omaha, Nebraska. He and his wife Christina, who is a member of the Momenta staff, have four children.
