Doctors

Dr. Quraishi originates from Westchester, New York. He completed an accelerated BS-MD program after high school and obtained his medical degree from Stony Brook School of Medicine in 1987. He graduated from an Internal Medicine Residency Program at New York Medical College- W.C.M.C. and then completed a four year Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program at a Columbia University- Harlem Hospital and Fellowship in Interventional Radiology at New York University School of Medicine-Bellevue where he was also a Clinical Assistant Professor. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Quraishi moved to Texas in 1996 where he practiced Neuro, Musculoskeletal and Vascular Image Guided Interventional Radiology. He has practiced Interventional Pain Management in South Texas since 2001. Dr. Quraishi also has extensive experience in physical medicine and chronic pain. He combines his expertise in CT, Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, MRI, and Flouroscopy with the clinical examination so as to provide precision image guided interventions incorporating Regenexx: Stem Cell Therapy. His interest includes: racquetball, kick-boxing, competitive dance and plays Polo as well as Polocrosse.

Dr. Ugochi Azuike, a native of Houston, Texas with Nigerian roots, is the most recent addition to the Texas interventional Orthopedics team. After graduating with honors from the University of Texas at Austin, she went on to complete her medical school education at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine (TCOM) in Fort Worth, Texas; Osteopathic training best-aligned with her beliefs of a multimodal, pan-systemic and more holistic approach to treatment. She received hundreds of hours of training in osteopathic manipulation of the body; a treatment modality that promotes the body’s natural ability to self-regulate and self-heal. She was drawn to these aspects of medicine because of the focus on restoration of body function in order to improve quality of life as a whole. Her training, leadership positions, and medical interests translated into a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency position at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Baylor expanded and honed her skill set in musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and sports and spine rehabilitation/treatments. This new set of tools ignited a desire to expand upon and broaden her skill set in the field of not only musculoskeletal and neuromuscular medicine but also regenerative medicine. She was the first and only female physician to complete an Interventional Orthopedic and Regenerative Medicine fellowship at the Centeno Schultz Clinic. There, she gained extensive training in advanced interventional injection techniques for the spine, muscles, and peripheral joints using orthobiologics such as stem cells, PRP, and prolotherapy. She is also currently involved in clinical research in the field of interventional orthopedics that is being used to advanced and pioneer this ever-growing field. Her interests include traveling, spending time with family, and recording music. She is currently featured on a platinum-selling album.
