Dr. John D. Mikuzis is a board certified physician in physical medicine and rehabilitation with extensive experience in musculoskeletal and rehabilitation medicine, men’s and women’s health and health and wellness management. Dr. Mikuzis is also a certified life care planner (CLCP, LCP-C). He has studied extensively and trained with physicians including programs sponsored by The American Association of Orthopedic Medicine, The American Academy of Osteopathic Medicine, The American Osteopathic Association of Prolotherapy Regenerative Medicine, The Clinical Electromedical Research Academy, Boston Biolife, and The Academy of Preventative and Innovative Medicine. He previously served as Trustee, Vice President and the President of the Will-Grundy Medical Society. Dr. Mikuzis continues to utilize innovative and research based treatments to maximize patient recovery and strongly believes in educating his patients to be their own advocate in living a healthy life.

He earned his medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine (Illinois), Midwestern University/CCOM-Olympia Fields, Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine (Illinois). He completed his residency at the University Of Illinois Hospital. Dr Mikuzis was previously teaching faculty at Barnes /Jewish Hospital/ Washington University in Saint Louis, Missouri.
