Dr. John Brannan was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, and is a proud graduate of St. Xavier High School. After earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Toledo, Dr. Brannan returned to the Queen City for medical school at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He went on to complete his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Rusk Rehabilitation Center in Missouri, before settling down in the tristate area for good.
Dr. Brannan currently serves as Team Physician for Roger Bacon High School, providing medical coverage at athletic events, as well as providing preventative care. With his specialties, he is able to recognize the severity of back, neck, and head injuries (including concussions) in young athletes, as well as provide assistance to trainers in preventing common sports related injuries.
His special interests include clinical spine medicine, sports medicine, rehabilitation, and electrodiagnosis. This includes various non-surgical treatment options for patients suffering from acute and chronic pain. In addition, Dr. Brannan also focuses on physiatry.
Physiatry is a medical specialty which involved diagnosing and treating orthopaedic and neurological disorders. Physiatrists are involved with every phase of a patient’s orthopaedic illness-from onset to recovery.

Dr. Henry Stiene practices Primary Care Sports Medicine and non-operative Orthopaedics. He was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from John Carroll University. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 1986 and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Christ Hospital here in Cincinnati. Dr. Stiene performed his Sports Medicine Fellowship at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis and worked with the Indianapolis Colts, Purdue University, Indiana University as well as Hanover College and the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
Dr. Stiene has also served as Team Physician for the University of Kentucky, Kentucky State University and the Lexington Ballet as well working with the US Olympic Team in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Currently Dr. Stiene serves as Co-Medical Director and Team Physician for Xavier University as well as working with numerous high schools in the greater Cincinnati area.
Dr. Stiene is also Co-Fellowship Director of the TriHealth Primary Care Sports Medicine program, which trains physicians who have completed their residency and wish to become Sports Medicine Specialists. He has also given numerous lectures on sports medicine topics locally as well as at the national level. He is teaching faculty for the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine and educates physicians on the use of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Imaging.
In 2012, Dr. Stiene served as Chief Medical Officer for International Medical Relief, which is a non-profit organization that provides medical care and missions to indigent populations across the globe.
In addition to treating patients of all ages with musculoskeletal and orthopaedic injuries, Dr. Stiene has a special interest in Regenerative Medicine which involves using biologics such as Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and stem cells to treat acute and chronic injuries and arthritis non-surgically. Dr. Stiene has performed over 2000 PRP procedures since 2007 and was one of the first physicians in the country to perform this procedure on a regular basis and has trained many physicians in this procedure. He and his staff have also received specialized training at the Centeno-Schultz Clinic in Denver Colorado in the use of Regenexx procedures that utilize PRP and stem cells in a highly purified manner.
Dr. Henry Stiene lives in Loveland, Ohio with his wife Beth, and three children, Andrew, Eric, and Danielle. He enjoys spending time with his family, landscaping, cycling, and restoring classic cars.
