James Robles, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain management specialist with advanced training in cutting-edge regenerative medicine techniques with more than 20 years of experience in the field. Dr. Robles offers his medical expertise and alternative approach to pain management at New Pain Solutions in Weslaco, Texas. He’s proud to serve his community and provide effective pain management solutions to those who need it.

As the firstborn son of immigrants from Mexico, Dr. Robles grew up with a passion for hard work and relentless learning instilled by his parents. Before his medical career began, Dr. Robles graduated at the top of his class in the Milwaukee Police Academy. He served in the United States Army Reserve as a medical officer and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal during the Gulf War.

Following his service to his country, Dr. Robles earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He went on to complete his internship in internal medicine and residency in anesthesiology at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

In order to provide patients with a broader range of treatment options, Dr. Robles continued to pursue advanced training. He’s certified in interventional regenerative orthopedic medicine, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and bio-identical hormone replacement therapy.

His extensive medical training and passion for serving his community make Dr. Robles exceptionally qualified to serve patients with regenerative needs. He’s volunteered his skills in orthopedic medicine in 10 international medical missions and is a true athlete at heart.
