First Large Case Series Regarding Stem Cell Reimplant Complications Published

We’re proud at Regenexx to announce the world’s first publication of a large, several year case series of patients treated with autologous mesenchymal stem cells and tracked prospectively for complications. The fact that no serious stem cell related complications were reported and the fact that the world’s highest definition MRI technology (3.0 Tesla imaging) was used to track more than 50 re-implant sites over time for tumor formation, makes this paper the first of it’s kind.  No other clinic around the globe or even pharma sponsored group has published on anywhere near this number of cases followed for anywhere near this length of time.  The upshot, cultured adult stem cells delivered through a needle for orthopedic applications in this large study were safer than the higher risk surgical procedures they helped many patients avoid.
