Mid-Trip Update

As many of my readers know, I’m sailing in Europe and am now about halfway through that trip. Hence, I thought I would give a mid-trip update.

I’m safe and sound, having sailed to the Balearic Islands and now returning to southern Spain to pick up our kids. A Starlink dish on our starboard bow has somehow held up well despite not being affixed to anything yet and also despite through 20-knot winds on the nose of the boat. This is pretty amazing tech, given that previously I only had Internet connections when close to the shore through a 5G router. Now I have broadband Internet even in the middle of 100-mile sea crossings. For example, as I write, we have 196 megabits per second speed in the middle of the Mediterranean Ocean, which is about 3X the speed of my home cable router!

Pre-recorded FB Lives

As some of you know, I usually deliver two Facebook Lives a week at the Regenexx and Centeno-Schultz Facebook and my personal Youtube channels. I had pre-recorded 6 of these before I left, and they are being released once a week. To view those presentations, click on the channel links here.

I’ll be lecturing at two upcoming conferences back to back when I return:

My Favorite Pics So Far

The upshot? All is well, and I’ll be back to more regular blogging when I return in early June. In the meantime, I’m honing my sailing skills and getting some much-needed R and R!
