Where in the World Do Regenexx Patients Come From?

Given that we began this trend of orthopedic stem cell use in 2005, we’ve had a lot of patients seek out our advanced technologies from many far-flung places. I had our biostatistician run a report this week on where our non-US patients traveled from to get a Regenexx procedure at a US site. The map he created is above. While there are a few trends, like most of the patients come from English-speaking countries, we’ve also seen many patients from places that don’t speak English as the primary language.

On the international front, Regenexx has added network clinics in Australia and the Caribbean in recent years. We’re also talking to sites in the Middle East, several European countries, Asia, and South America. So hopefully many of these international patients will soon be able to get access to our technology and experience in their their local countries.

The upshot? Regenexx is very different. Despite many of these countries having active stem cell offerings, international patients have long sought out our advanced technology and extensive orthopedic specific expertise! We continue to see patients who understand that what they can access back home is less sophisticated than what we can offer, so they cross continents and oceans to get what they want. Hopefully we’ll soon be able to let some of those patients get treated at home!
