Avoid Toe Surgery with Regenexx

Toe arthritis is a big issue as when it advances, it can cause the toes to bend sideways and create painful bone spurs. If left untreated, the big toe in particular can become rigid, putting more stress on the rest of the foot and ankle. Surgery to cut out the bone spurs is common, but this just leads to a floppy and unstable toe as important ligaments are cut. Fusing the toe just adds more pressure elsewhere.

Our approach is to use advanced interventional orthopedics instead of surgery.

During this outpatient procedure, our expert physicians use precise image guidance to inject custom concentrations of your body’s natural healing agents into the exact areas of damage to promote repair of the damage damage from osteoarthritis in the toes leading to better function and mobility. Best of all, your downtime will be a fraction of surgery, with little to no need for opioid pain medications or time off work. Call our patient care coordinators today to get started on your path to recovery.
