Dr. Centeno writes Magazine Piece on Adult Stem Cells for Glass Magazine

A few months ago, I was asked to write a magazine article on adult stem cell therapies for Glass Magazine in the UK (sort of an interesting mix of our Elle and Wired magazines). This was accomplished through the help of my co-author, Michael Freeman, Ph.D., M.P.H. from the Oregon Health Sciences University. The final piece is on news stands now and was named, “Repairing Life”. Here’s the link to the piece. It examines the latest in stem cell therapies (I intentionally tried to avoid advertising our own therapy), the role of the International Cellular Medicine Society in patient safety, and how the current regulatory posture in the U.S. in Europe is stifling innovation.
