DG is a 43 year old male with a 1.5 year history of right sided medial knee pain with running or going up stairs. He also felt a clicking or catching when standing up from a seated position. An MRI showed a complex tear of the posterior horn of the medial meniscus. He was told he needed knee surgery for the meniscus, but he decided to try a same surgical procedure injection of his own stem cells instead of surgery. He was re-injected about a month ago and today had this to report:
“It’s been about 4 weeks since I came in and received treatment from you for my torn Meniscus last September. You administered your Regenexx Same Day procedure to treat both my meniscus and a suspected ACL tear as well. I have to admit I was in some pain for the first few days after the procedure. However, after the 1st week things started getting much better. I have less pain in my knee than previously and can walk 1-2 miles without any issues at this point.”
