Are You a Candidate for our New Shoulder Rotator Cuff Stem Cell Study?

shoulder rotator cuff stem cell study

We are now recruiting for a study using the Regenexx-SD procedure to treat rotator cuff tears. This Shoulder Rotator Cuff Stem Cell Study will be a true randomized controlled trial with two groups. One group will begin with a stem cell injection treatment while the other will be treated with physical therapy (the control group). At three months, the groups will cross over, so that the group that didn’t get stem cells initially will also get stem cells. In exchange for participation in this stem cell study, the study related care will be free of charge. If you have a rotator cuff tear and would consider entering into a study, e-mail us at StudyCandidate@regenexx.com. We will first look at your MRI report to get a sense of if you qualify from a 30,000 foot view. If you pass that qualification step, then a more in-depth review will be performed to see if you meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The study is listed on clinicaltrials.gov here.

While we’ve seen great results with using the Regenexx-SD procedure to treat shoulder rotator cuff tears for years, we also understand that it’s important to perform more formal research. As a result, we’re excited to begin the next phase of our research program.
