Happy Holidays from Regenexx!

I grew up Catholic, which is one of the reasons I leapt at the chance to speak about stem cells at the Vatican many years ago. Like many kids, I loved Christmas. It was magic growing up as a kid with five brothers and a sister in a middle-class family waking up to see the explosion of presents that Santa had left under the tree. As I got older, I realized that my parents typically borrowed from Peter to pay Paul to make it all work, but they always made sure Santa delivered.

I’m such a big Christmas fan that I listen to only holiday music for the last few weeks leading up to the big day. I also try to take two weeks off to truly unwind with family, which, if you know my work pace during the year, is not typical for me. This is one of the times of the year that I get to hit the reset button.

As a result, you may have heard, the Centeno-Schultz Clinic and Regenexx have a legendary holiday party. It’s a chance for our practice and the company to give back to employees, who work their tail off all year, and an opportunity for them to let loose. We also purchase hotel rooms for anyone that wants one or an UBER so that anybody can imbibe without having to drive home. This holiday season, I’ll leave you with a few photos from our party above.

The Elf in many photos is none other than the Centeno-Schultz CEO, Eric, in the elf costume. Damn, I think Eric missed his Elf calling as he looks like he just stepped out of a Christmas movie! That’s also a larger than life-sized poster of Dr. Williams! It was a much-coveted secret Santa gift, and for a day, he was much taller than Dr. Hyzy. You’ll also see Mark Testa of Regenexx as Santa as well as Micah as a backup Elf! There’s also a group of CSC and Regenexx staff cutting it up and enjoying the refreshments, knowing that they don’t have to drive home!

This year we also took a holiday outing to the new Star Wars release. I started to get some tickets back in October and noticed that the big IMAX down in Denver was wide open. So I pulled down a few tickets for the big Star Wars fans at the office. Ninety tickets later, everyone who wanted to go had a seat! So CSC and Regenexx basically bought out a theater for the holidays!

As I leave you today, we had a big snow last night, so it’s a White Christmas here in Colorado this holiday season. Bing Crosby would be proud! Regardless of which holiday you celebrate, I wish you and yours a very magical and happy holiday season!
