The New Orthopedics 2.0 Book! When I first wrote Orthopedics 2.0, the purpose was to put in writing, the very unique and comprehensive approach we used with our patients. After a few months of writing, I got to that place that I’m sure many authors reach-“I’m done for now”. What I mean is that not only was it time for the first book to go out, but after months of reading, editing, rewriting, and re-reading, I was “done”. Despite that feeling of completion, there was still much to say and refine.
As a result, after I recovered from the experience, I began writing the second book. This cooked along in fits and starts until I recently reached the same place. Thus was born the 2nd edition of Orthopedics 2.0 At some point in the next month or so, I’m sure the inspiration will hit me for a third version, as there’s just a bit more to say.
The 2nd version of the book is about twice the size of the first, with considerably more detail in certain areas. It’s also restructured around a refined message with many more graphics. Finally, it contains many self-tests that can be done at home. Finally, it also contains a “Reader’s Digest” section up front, that spells out a summary of the message. So if you only have 5 minutes now, start there and come back for more later. Here’s the link…happy reading!
[What’s the picture on the cover? It’s fluorescent microscopy from our lab showing tagged cartilage components being created by stem cells that have been exposed to certain dietary supplements. The bright spots are the cartilage components.]
