New Regenexx Stem Cell Research Lab

I blogged awhile back that we had officially opened a stem cell research facility that’s separate from our processing facility. While the cell processing facility that’s part of our medical practice is a clean room, the “Research and Discovery Laboratory” is focused 100% on researching new ways to help patients heal orthopedic injuries through stem cells and platelets. It’s part of what’s underwater in the iceberg known as Regenexx, so much more than just another bedside centrifuge. While other clinics just figuring out how to use stem cells may have stock photos of labs in their web-sites, we really have those facilities. All of this is part of the “Regenexx Difference”.

Our motto above, chosen by our lead scientist, is important, “Discovery is said to be an accident meeting a prepared mind”. This statement exemplifies the entire impetus behind physician driven discovery. Physicians innovate to solve real world clinical problems. The best discoveries in medicine have been when doctors innovate to treat a unique patient (an accident if you will). The upshot? While the fancy plaque looks great, more importantly, it’s what’s behind that plaque that allows us to lead in the field of orthopedic cell biology.
