As promised last week, here’s the final data on the Regenexx-SD knee stem cell procedure for arthritis. More data may be reported as we slice and dice the information, but we now have enough so that a simple one page infographic can be created for patients. As usual, we will be submitting this data for publication, when much more detail will be reported. In addition, a word of caution. This is registry data collected while patients were being treated, so it’s not the same as a controlled trial. For a bigger version, click here….
What’s interesting? The -SD procedure fared well against the -C procedure, performing on average about 5-10 points lower for % improvement. For patients who were deemed Good or Fair candidates, it seemed to perform well. Where the cultured procedure outperformed the same day procedure was in more severe arthritis (Poor candidates). This is about what we expected based on what we often hear from our patients. We should have data available on the -AD procedure soon.
