DC is a 50 year old working in construction who was told he was a candidate for a partial knee replacement (unicompartmental-where only one side is replaced). The patient had 5 steroid shots in the knee with no improvement. Instead of the knee replacement, he opted for a same day injection of his own stem cells into the arthritic knee. He is now one month out from his first injection and this is what he reports:
