Short blog this morning as we near the holiday season. As you may know, Regenexx has been able to get contracts for insurance coverage with many self-insured employers. We’re now adding 41 more employers to that list in just a week.

Regenexx is the only company offering orthobiologics that has been able to get legitimate insurance coverage by approaching self-funded employers looking to convert their eligible employees from invasive and expensive orthopedic surgery to cheaper and less invasive interventional orthobiologics. This isn’t a Q-code scam like the amnio companies are running against Medicare and major insurers, it’s actual real insurance coverage for those employees who work for those companies. To date, Regenexx has contracted with 200 employers. That’s everything from fortune 500 companies to firefighters to school teachers to city government employees. We also now work through 76 insurance brokers.

Adding 41 New Companies

As of January 1st, Regenexx will add 41 new employers to this plan. That will make the new total 241 companies. In addition, we are in talks with many fortune 500 companies. Some of those huge employers should close in 2021.

Regenexx corporate has become so popular that about 1/3 of the referrals out of our call center each month are for patients who have full coverage for Regenexx. Think about that, these patients don’t have to worry about out of pocket costs.

The upshot? Regenexx has a whole corporate coverage team out there pounding the pavement to get more and more employers offering interventional orthobiologic exclusively through our provider network.
