Stem cells used to Treat a Meniscus Tear
MK is a 52 year old, very active man with a meniscus tear who was seen and treated in December of last year seeking a knee meniscus surgery alternative. He is now 4 months out from using his stem cells to treat his knee meniscus tear (Regenexx-SD). Instead of getting his meniscus cut back through knee arthroscopy, he underwent an injection. He reports:
“My knee is doing great! As you know we did the procedure on Dec. 15th. Since then I spent a week in India. Came back and traveled with my son for 2 1/2 weeks in New Zealand and Australia. I sky dove, scuba dove, climb 50 stories up mountains, climbed the Sydney bridge, raced go carts, Zorbed, rode ATV’s and more. Then came home and spent 6 days at Disney pushing my special needs son in a stroller (over 200 lbs.) 10 miles a day.
I have no pain and no instability! I have not done any rehab at all with a physical therapist.”
Wow, now that’s active! We wish MK continued success!
Regenexx SD is a medical procedure and like all medical procedures has a success and failure rate.
