Brett Haake, DO

Dr. Brett Haake is an osteopathic physician whose career has been shaped by a commitment to service, precision, and helping patients achieve better long-term health. With more than 20 years of experience in military medicine, cardiac anesthesiology, and preventive medicine, he brings a broad perspective to patient care. After earning his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Haake served as a commissioned officer in the United States Navy, including a deployment to Helmand Province, Afghanistan, where he provided trauma and anesthesia care in a combat setting. He later specialized in cardiac anesthesiology and perioperative echocardiography, holding leadership roles as Chief of Anesthesia and serving as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Anesthesia at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Patients appreciate his thoughtful, personalized approach and his focus on helping them make informed decisions about their health.

As founder of Ikaria Concierge and Functional Medicine in Vero Beach, Florida, Dr. Haake focuses on preventive and regenerative medicine, with particular interests in metabolic health, lipid management, hormone optimization, and healthy aging. He works closely with each patient to develop individualized care plans that address underlying health concerns and support long-term wellness. Drawing on the discipline and attention to detail developed throughout his military and medical career, Dr. Haake is dedicated to helping patients improve function, reduce health risks, and maintain active lifestyles. He is board certified in anesthesiology, perioperative transesophageal echocardiography, anti-aging medicine, and clinical lipidology. Outside of medicine, he enjoys offshore fishing, staying active, and spending time with his family in the Vero Beach community.
