Dr. Santo felt drawn to medicine and knew after medical school that she would always put patients first and do everything possible to make a difference in their lives. Seeing how pain affects people and their families, there was never any doubt what direction she would take once entering into medical practice.
With a focus on comprehensive wellness, Dr. Santo aims to provide the most advanced care using the least harmful therapies. Her patients say she listens to them in a way that makes them feel cared for and understood.
After her residency training in anesthesiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, she then relocated to Augusta, Georgia, to complete pain medicine fellowship training at the Medical College of Georgia.
She is a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain medicine physician and is also certified in age management medicine by Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation.
