Outpatient procedures using Regenexx injectates involve precise injections of customized concentrations derived from the patient’s biological materials into areas where nerve compression may be occurring. These procedures are intended to support function and address the underlying irritation by targeting the site of nerve impingement.

The injectates are prepared using either the patient’s own blood to create a concentrated form of platelet-rich plasma (PRP), or bone marrow concentrate (BMC), which contains stem cells. These biologics are used according to the specific needs of the condition being treated.

Recovery time is typically shorter than that associated with surgical options, and most individuals report minimal or no reliance on opioid medications or extended time away from daily activities.

Am I a candidate?

Watch a hand procedure using Regenexx injectates performed by a physician in the licensed Regenexx network:

The aim is to pursue the least invasive and most cost-conscious procedure appropriate for the condition. A provider will evaluate your case to determine whether a platelet-based procedure or one using bone marrow concentrate (BMC) may be recommended.

Join Chris Centeno, MD, founder of Regenexx, for an educational webinar discussing how procedures using Regenexx injectates may be considered for hand injuries and conditions.

This session will explore options that do not involve surgery and are designed to support joint function using the body’s own biological materials.

During this free webinar, you’ll learn:

  • How procedures using bone marrow concentrate (BMC) and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) compare with traditional approaches to orthopedic care
  • What to expect before, during, and after Regenexx procedures
  • Responses to frequently asked questions about the use of orthobiologics in musculoskeletal care
