Dr. Michael Skeels DO completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He then completed a fellowship in Interventional Spine and Pain at the Spine Technology and Rehab Institute. Dr. Skeels was previously a competitive tennis player.

Dr. Lok Valentas, MD, specializes in Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, bringing a thoughtful and individualized approach to patient care. She believes in meeting each patient with humility, patience, and compassion while taking the time to understand their unique concerns, goals, and circumstances. Her approach centers on informed care and meaningful communication, with an emphasis on helping patients feel heard and involved in decisions about their health. Dr. Valentas currently practices in Columbus, Ohio, where she has called home for the past decade. She values the opportunity to serve the community where she has built both her professional and personal life.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Valentas enjoys spending quality time with her family and sharing good food and meaningful experiences together. She especially enjoys sushi and appreciates discovering great food whenever she has the opportunity. Time with family provides a welcome balance to her work and reflects the importance she places on connection in both her personal and professional life. Dr. Valentas enjoys building relationships with her patients and creating an environment where they feel comfortable, respected, and heard.
