Dr. Paez takes a comprehensive approach to pain management services and provides every patient with a highly customized plan of care that reduces pain and improves overall wellness. He combines his background in anesthesiology and pain management with a deep passion for helping his patients lead healthy, active, and pain-free lives.

He strongly believes in taking a more natural and holistic approach to pain management. He is always looking to increase his knowledge of pain medicine to provide his patients with the best care possible.

He has served as the chief medical officer of South Lake Pain Institute for more than 15 years and is director of the Regenerative Medicine Division and is currently president of the Florida Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.

Additionally, Dr. Paez has been the principal investigator in more than 50 clinical trials.

Julie Saranita, DO, is a renowned, double board-certified Doctor in both Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology. She offers a comprehensive personalized approach to pain management for each patient, offering the most advanced technology at South Lake Pain Institute in Clermont and Orlando, Florida. Dr. Saranita is passionate in providing total optimal care for all patients.

Dr. Saranita understands that when a patient is living with pain, it doesn’t just hurt their body, it affects their emotional wellbeing and negatively impacts their whole life. She provides a customized, patient-centered holistic approach to help patients improve their pain and overall wellness.

Dr. Saranita completed her Pain Medicine Fellowship at the University of South Florida. She completed her Anesthesiology residency at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Saranita earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Des Moines University.

Dr. Saranita has almost two decades of experience in helping her patients find relief from issues including chronic back and neck pain, as well as pain related to cancer and auto accidents. Dr. Saranita is a one of the few physicians in the United States who is qualified and trained to perform vertebroplasties, a nonsurgical treatment for fractured vertebrae.
